Cheese-bacon jalapeño bombs

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 16 slices bacon
  • 8 jalapeños medium
  • 1/2 onion
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano and basil
  • cream cheese

In a saucepan fry the onion in butter until it turns yellow and tender, then add the beef, salt, pepper, oregano and basil and cook it.

Separately, cut the jalapeño in half, lengthwise, removing the seeds.

Spread cream cheese inside each jalapeño half.

Add ground beef on top of the cream cheese.

Wrap the bacon around the jalapeño making sure you cover the beef so is not falling.

Place the jalapeños in a baking pan.

Preheat the oven at 350 F (180 C).

Put the pan in the oven for ~30 min, until the jalapeños are cooked.
